In what will hopefully become a yearly tradition, 22 club members left their Corvettes at home and gathered for a dinner cruise from New London to Ballard’s on Block Island. Thanks to the Block Island Express Ferry got a great trip and to Ballard’s for some delicious food.

15th Annual “Vettes at the Beach, Ocean Beach Park, New London

What a great day for a car show!!! Perfect weather and a great attendance, over 250 Corvettes, C1 to C8, from all over the region came out to show off America’s greatest sports car.
Special thanks to Dave Sugrue from Ocean Beach Park for his outstanding efforts in helping us make this show a HUGE success, Jeff Mullen of Action Amusements for making the rides available to the kids and for his generous match to our donation to the Make A Wish Foundation, Paul Koerner AKA “The Corvette Mechanic” from Key Chevrolet for answering all the enthusiast questions and for choosing his choice for “car of the show”, Kevin Hogan of Channel 3 for presenting the Club Participation trophy to the club with the most cars which was the Corvette Club of Rhode Island who sent 24 cars, Tom Bombria for some amazing photos of the show and all the vendors in attendance.
